The eight couture offerings in the Biophilic Collection are named after essential oil plants with designs that were extracted from nature. Taking inspiration from the natural Japanese tie dye technique of Shibori, these compositions create an impression of ink.
Like a tufted drawing, an abstract floral motif sprouts from this complex homage to Shibori, attracting light and juxtaposing cut, matte areas. Irregularly formed in the spirit of organic geometry, the jagged border invites comparison to fragmented stones or rough diamonds.
